Investors can transfer their investments in-specie, meaning their portfolio can be moved to or from another platform without being converted to cash first.
Fractional shares aren't supported, meaning you can only buy whole units of each investment. This can lead to leftover cash being sat in the account when making ongoing investments.
When it comes to a pension offering, this SIPP covers most of the major features you’d be looking for: drawdown is supported (you can start withdrawing your pension in retirement), limited company directors can deposit via their business (tax effectively), and employers can deposit into their employee’s SIPPs too.
Hargreaves Lansdown's SIPP ranks joint-12th by Fi Fee for small investors, but fares slightly better at 7th for bigger investors. They charge 0.99% as an FX fee for investments in foreign currencies.
