Compare brokers

Our approach

We want to make it easy to compare investment accounts in the UK.

Other resources already exist to help people choose the best broker for them, but they typically have a strong lean towards active trading and more speculative calls, and often recommend the platform that pays them the most money.

We focus on long-term, low fee investing. Our reviews and ratings are fair, transparent, and we will never let a company pay to change our opinions or gain higher rankings.

Frequently asked questions

Some of the common questions people ask about our broker comparisons.

How is Fi Fee calculated?

Fi Fee is a unique metric devised by Financial Interest to compare costs when investing with every broker or investing platform in exactly the same way. It assumes a once-monthly, passive investment into an ETF where possible, with no further trading or withdrawals.

Fund fees are excluded to isolate broker costs. If you invest in different ways to how we calculate, e.g. trading shares or investing into mutual funds, your actual fees might vary significantly.

How is Fi Score calculated?

Fi Score is calculated by our review experts, and is based on a number of factors including fees and features for each account type, compared to competing products. Every broker or platform then has an overall Fi Score based on their average rating across all accounts they offer.
